Unexpected

I didn't think I would feel this sad.

(Although I do realize that if you look at this picture without knowing that we are selling our house, you might think that I want to sell the back end of SCOUT. Which, of course, would definitely be the half of him I'd like to sell most. I might even throw in the front half as a freebie. (But he doesn't really come with a pool.))

Comments

I felt as though I were betraying my home.

Just think of all the new opportunities you will have opened up to you. Your kids will be fine and will enjoy their new school and you will become New Yorkers.

For a minute, I thought your pool was open from 2-4. Then again, I'm attempting lace knitting, so I'm not right in the head at the moment (whether that's a result or the cause of the lace knitting is up for discussion.)

Whoever becomes the new resident of that house is going to be seriously lucky with all the good vibes soaked into it. Think of all the good karma you're accruing from passing it on!

Gulp...this seems to cinch it doesn't it? Our house is hitting the market next week. (we've been here 15 yrs!) One morning we were heading out to the van for school, and my daughter (who is most distraut about the move) picked up a rock the size of a potato and said, "Mom can I take this with me from the house?" I just wanted to cry. Oh, but the excitement of a new/different home and new memories are around the corner. Best Wishes on the sale Barb! p.s. maybe a pool of pee comes with Scout, hee hee

At first I thought the pool was open from 2-4, and I was like, whoa! Just what kind of Open Houses do they have in Texas?! Good luck, hon!
