Cat Attack

It's not my fault that I didn't get to exercise before the kids came home from school yesterday.

No, seriously.

I was on the couch playing Scramble doing all kinds of really important work on my cell phone when this happened:

Yes, the Evil Orange Forces descended upon me, bringing the full measure of their narcoleptic powers to bear and...um...well...I woke up an hour later with drool on my face.  (The drool was a nice touch, huh?  Evil, evil Orange Forces!)

(Stop me if you've heard this (yawn) but I'm dieting and trying to exercise. (Again. Still. Endlessly.) I'm not very excited about it but I'm doing it.  I'm not going to clog up my nice, clean-mouthed little blog with my rantings about the unfairness of being Metabolically Challenged so I am blogging about it on the Getting Healthy Blog.  I'll probably be blogging about it in excruciating detail over there, what with it being all I can think about at the moment.  Feel free to join me over there if you, too, have a terrible attitude and want to send hate mail to the diet industry.)

Well, I know you aren't excited, but I am (trying to send "excited about my diet" vibes to you through your blog). My husband boiled me an egg last night which I ate eagerly this morning. I've picked up my small carton of skim milk and I am enjoying my first (and only) coffee of the day while reading my favourite blogs. C'mon! Be excited with me (cuz I expect my excitement will wear off by about 3:00 pm and I could use some of those "excited about being on a diet" vibes sent back.

Love ya!

Never underestimate the weight of a cat. Its amazing that you could breathe, what with two cats bearing down on you.

I have a completely bad attitude about diet and exercise right now. Maybe next year...

Scramble is hideously addictive. Save yourself!

Evil indeed! Did I mention we drove across our entire state and into the next to get a cat who attacks in just such a manner? You are truly beset with troubles of the kitty variety.

There ought to be a law, or at least a Very Firm Policy, against disturbing cats who are sleeping on you. Especially orange ones.

I thing it was good of the cats to help you hold the sofa down so it wouldn't float away. Cats always know when the furniture wants to float away and they like to help hold it down. lolol

I'm jealous of your nap. And I'm on a diet, wait, not diet - Healthy Eating Plan for Life!!! - again too, and I HATE IT.

Let's hate it together. It'll be good.
