Love (Rooster-Free) Thursday

Ladies and Gentleman (Hi, honey!),

It is my great pleasure to announce that the Cooper Kitchen is now 100% Rooster Free.

I would take a picture but I can't actually stand up or do anything else that might require my stomach muscles.

PS: I was working on some sort of joke about Range-free Roosters --get it?--RANGE --but then I just couldn't go there.

Comments

That's because it is really rooster-free range...

Barb: Was Edward wearing any sort of collar?

If so, he may just be beyond the tree line of your property, hung up in a bush.

Have the girls call and listen, call and listen.

And, since I'm not sure what sort of neighborhood you live in, go up and down all the streets.

After 2 weeks in unfamiliar territory, the odds are getting smaller.

If there's a real dump somewhere nearby--check there too, just don't get your hopes up.

I want to support you in your search, but sad to say, there's this reality that usually happens to me...and your plight just makes me want to sit down and cry...and that's just what I'd be doing if I weren't at the office.

I REALLY hope you find your cat and restore my faith in the world.

Barb. Barb, Barb.

All those months of looking for the second rooster, and now you move into a pre-roostered environment and CLEAR THEM OUT?

Well, it's one thing to crave a (second) rooster on the running trail. It's another whole thing to have roosters in one's kitchen. Where one comes, um, before coffee and all. If you'd like, I can send you a scrap of rooster-infested wallpaper for your own morning enjoyment.

Yeah, didn't think so.
Congratulations, you are a better woman than I!

Congratulations on your rooster-free kitchen! I know how much of a pain it is to scrape wallpaper. Wahoo!
