August 13, 2012 -- Headache

I'm posting to tell you that I won't be posting because I have a headache. I don't often get headaches anymore, but I've had a low-grade one all afternoon and I think I'm going to go to bed early.

I didn't want to bail on my resolve to post every day during the month of August, although I am kind of feeling like every day is just too much Barb.  I can see how that would be annoying. Are you getting annoyed?  You can tell me.

Here, look at my silly daughter while I go take some ibuprofen.

I said, "Katherine, get off of my desk."  She said, "You never mind when EDWARD does this!"
She made me laugh really, really hard.

Doesn't she realize that it's always the *other* one who's the favorite? :)

How very Teen Logic of her.
I'm waiting for the explanation of why she's no longer Ana... is Katherine her Starbucks Name? ;)

Excellent start to my morning! Here's a raised mug of coffee to Katherine :)

p.s. I hope your headache is better this morning.

Well, I don't think it's too much, Barb. I think it's just perfect - kinda makes me feel like we're not so far away from each other. Also, I've had the same low-grade headache for about 3 days now. Not enough to make me stay in bed but enough to make me really, REALLY bitchy. Hope you're better today, sista!

My son told me that when you have a low grade headache, meaning that nagging little pounding at your temple, that just seems to drag you down, it means you need to drink some water.

I think you're a pint low (hehe).

I'm with Tenna - drink more water! I had a doctor in college who, no matter the ailment, would prescribe, "Drink water 'till it comes out your ears."

Not too much Barb! You're inspiring me to actually post on my blog. Not that I have, yet...

Actually, hearing you had a headache was a comfort to me. I've been suffering from a summer virus (went to urgent care, and a virus is anything they can't diagnose) and it's really icky to be sickish in hot weather.

It started with a headache...but drinking lots of water is critical. I find that this hot weather demands more intake, even if we are inside in the AC more often than not.

I vote that you do a full month before you decide daily is too much! You're my morning wake up chat.
